Losing our sweet baby on the way this February still stings my heart. It still makes me wince when I think of how quickly September is creeping up. My flesh still aches for my body to be carrying a healthy little baby, but I know that His plans are the best plans. So I press on knowing He is in control and this is all for growing and knowing Him better.

In pondering these things this morning it came to me that what I have here is a generous portion of “free time”. That is priceless! I have extra days to spend complication free with our sweet girl. I have the ability to sort and organize through our home without any time limit or pressure of an impending birth to come. I have free time with my husband. September will mark the beginning of our “free time” which we wouldn’t have had otherwise. Although I wouldn’t trade our second child for anything, I will say “Thank you Lord for this time we have together as a family!”
